Backend Development
The Foundation Curriculum lays the groundwork with core Java concepts, object-oriented programming, and database interactions. The Advanced phase then empowers learners to build enterprise-level applications, focusing on Spring Boot, microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and AWS cloud development architecture leading to an AWS Associate certificate.
Eligibility
Option 1
A tertiary degree or HND in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology
At least one year of experience with a backend framework (Spring Boot, Node.js, Django) demonstrable through projects (personal, academic, or professional).
Prior experience with Java programming is a plus
Option 2
Any other tertiary degree or diploma.
At least two years of experience in software engineering, including:
1+ year of professional experience with a backend framework (Spring Boot, Node.js, Django).
Demonstrable knowledge of software engineering principles (e.g., through a portfolio, online courses, or boot camp certifications).
The Application Process
ONLINE APPLICATION
All applicants must complete an online registration form with personal information, resume, certifications, portfolio.
ONLINE ASSESSMENT
Complete the online coding assessment within a week, covering programming basics, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving (pass mark: 300/600).
Shortlisting
Shortlisting is based on applicant’s score in the assessment and profile against the eligibility criteria.
Interviews for shortlisted candidates
The 60-minute interview will assess your skills and explore your career goals and contributions to AmaliTech.
Final Decision
You’ll receive a final decision within 2 weeks, based on your application quality, assessment score, and interview feedback.
