Empowering Young Minds: Unlocking Future Opportunities with Coding Skills

In the light of advancing digital literacy, AmaliTech is convinced that equipping kids at early ages with digital skills and setting them on the right path towards technological exploration is vital for their future careers.

Through our Coding for Kids initiative, we aim to equip these young minds with the necessary tools and skills to thrive in a technology-driven world, opening doors to future opportunities that may otherwise be inaccessible.

How does Coding For Kids work?

AmaliTech enables local ICT Teachers to impart fundamental coding skills to their pupils by means of an elaborate train-the-teacher programme. Languages taught include Scratch, HTML/ CSS, Python and Java with subsequent mentoring of teachers by AmaliTech trainers.

Coding Competitions and Bootcamps

Coding Competitions and Bootcamps are held annually for young participants learning Coding from our Coding for Kids programme or young participants from invited schools and communities.

Our coding competitions will continue to create opportunities for underprivileged teens and kids to learn how to code. The joy of these experiences is seeing how these students/kids are shaped into problem-solvers, innovators and critical thinkers.

Social Impact

The Coding for Kids Programme has been useful to the students enrolled in it. It has shaped their thoughts on what career path they would like to pursue. As an implementer of the programme, I have gained useful insights into handling children and working with their creativity. These insights have helped me develop relevant tutelage to the students, teachers and trainers on the programme
