An inclusive workforce is crucial for a thriving tech ecosystem

According to the World Health Organisation 15% of the people in the world are living with disabilities. At AmaliTech it is our goal to break down barriers that are currently hindering persons with disabilities from pursuing a path in the ICT sector. There are many aspects to consider – starting with offering the right tools and necessary software, mentorship programmes and the creation of an inclusive work environment.

Inclusion Initiatives at AmaliTech

Special learning software for visually impaired and hearing-impaired trainees

Sign Language Interpreters hired to assist hearing impaired colleagues and facilitate communication

Implementation of an Inclusion Mentorship Programme at AmaliTech supporting hearing impaired colleagues to reach their maximum potential in their various career paths

Flexibility in working conditions on a case-by-case basis

Financial assistance / disability allowance for PWD’s

Yearly BOOST sensitization programmes for trainees and employees to give them first-hand information on what diversity and inclusion means at AmaliTech. We believe every trainee or employee needs more than just a basic understanding of what it means to work in a diverse and inclusive space

Regular employee events around health & wellness (physical and mental)

OUR PARTNERS

AmaliTech works in line with national disability regulations in Ghana and Rwanda. We collaborate with local stakeholders to foster inclusion and pave the way for persons with disabilities to join AmaliTech and gain meaningful employment in the tech sector.
