Front-end Development
The Foundation Curriculum establishes proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a chosen frontend framework (Angular or React). The Advanced phase then challenges learners with complex topics like state management, performance optimization, and server-side rendering, preparing them to build high-performance and scalable web applications. The specialization also covers AWS cloud development services such as AWS Amplify, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, AppSync, CloudFront, etc leading to an AWS Associate certificate.
Eligibility
Option 1
A tertiary degree or HND in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology.
At least one year of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript demonstrable through projects (personal, academic, or professional).
Experience with a frontend framework (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) is a plus
Option 2
Any other tertiary degree or diploma.
At least two years of experience in software engineering, including:
1+ year of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
1+ year of experience with a frontend framework (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) is a plus
Demonstrable knowledge of frontend development principles (e.g., through a portfolio, online courses, or boot camp certifications).
The Application Process
ONLINE APPLICATION
All applicants must complete an online registration form with personal information, resume, certifications, portfolio.
ONLINE ASSESSMENT
Complete the online coding assessment within a week, covering programming basics, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving (pass mark: 300/600).
Shortlisting
Shortlisting is based on applicant’s score in the assessment and profile against the eligibility criteria.
Interviews for shortlisted candidates
The 60-minute interview will assess your skills and explore your career goals and contributions to AmaliTech.
Final Decision
You’ll receive a final decision within 2 weeks, based on your application quality, assessment score, and interview feedback.
