Windows Administrator (Server/MS 365)

Location: Hybrid work model; Accra/Takoradi/Kumasi

Working Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Description

AmaliTech seeks a passionate Windows Administrator (Server/MS365) to join our team with expertise in managing Windows Server environments and Microsoft 365 services. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of our IT infrastructure while supporting end users and implementing best practices for system administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other core services
• Perform server patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments
• Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Monitor and maintain user accounts, licenses, and security configurations
• Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
• Manage backups, disaster recovery solutions, and system restorations
• Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
• Monitor and mitigate vulnerabilities in the Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.

 

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 
• At least 4  years of experience with the Administration and Configuration of Windows Server operating system (Windows Server 2012R2 – Windows Server 2022)
• Experience and knowledge of SharePoint/Exchange/Teams/OneDrive (in relation to on-premise and MS Azure)
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of security and reliability
• Drafting professional correspondence and managing schedules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams

Preferred Qualification

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or equivalent.
• Experience with hybrid environments and Azure AD.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and ticketing systems
