AmaliTech and gds Enter Strategic Partnership
With the launch of their first jointly developed product, AmaliTech Services and gds GmbH are excited to officially announce their cooperation.
gds is a full-service provider for technical documentation and is part of the technotrans SE group. Over the course of almost a year of collaboration, AmaliTech’s software developers have developed a material compliance web portal, which is now celebrating its market launch.
Ludger Heisterkamp, Head of Software Development at gds GmbH, says: “We are delighted to have gained a strong partner in Africa with AmaliTech. Companies that recognise and utilise the enormous potential of the young and dynamic workforce, especially in Ghana and Rwanda, will be able to implement their digitalisation projects faster. The collaboration has allowed us to develop a platform from concept to launch in one year, and our experience of working in diverse teams and in similar time zones across continents has been very positive.
By connecting European companies with African digital talent, AmaliTech aims to address the shortage of IT professionals in Europe while creating sustainable jobs in Africa. IT university graduates are offered the opportunity to complete a free training programme at AmaliTech’s own training academies in Ghana and Rwanda and then work remotely on client projects in Europe from one of AmaliTech’s local offices.
Martin Hecker, CEO and Founder of AmaliTech: „The smooth cooperation with gds is an outstanding example of how it is possible to successfully develop an end-to-end solution in remote cooperation. The collaboration in interdisciplinary and international teams is working extremely well, and AmaliTech will continue to support the project as we have done since the beginning. We look forward to creating future-oriented solutions together. “
